We were tasked with returning this garden to its former glory, fully equipped with a large lawn, summer house, sun deck and stand alone swimming pool.
After several meetings and careful planning, we finalised the design and got to work. The team started by clearing the site of debris and excavating the ground ready for the new swimming pool foundations.
Once we'd built the retaining wall to secure the ground, a 6 inch reinforced concrete base was poured to provide a solid pad on which to stand to new pool.
Once the base was solid, the carpenters got to work on the decking frame while the team began construction of the pool.
After all the materials were on site and access was no longer required from the bottom of the garden, we began to lay the turf. The ground was raked, levelled and the team laid 200m2 of locally sourced high quality seeded turf.
From muddy track to lush lawn. After laying the turf, it is then tamped down, using scaffold planks - this helps the turf root into the soil.
The summer house on a bed of gravel was a great addition to the garden, meaning the garden can be enjoyed in all weathers.
200m2 of turf, 60m2 of sun deck, 1 swimming pool, 16,000L of water, 1 summer house and the rehoming of 7 Koi Carp later - we were finished.
